What is PTSA?
PTSA stands for Parent Teacher Student Association. The Pondersoa PTSA is a member of the Washington State PTA, a nonprofit, membership association which seeks to bring together the home, school and community on behalf of all children and youth. Membership is open to all parents/guardians, teachers and students of Ponderosa Elementary School.
Our Goals
*The PTSA will help create an environment in which studnets become community-minded, respectful, character-filled citizens, learning to respect and accept themselves and others.
*The PTSA will help raise the bar on educational experiences and opportunities, advocating for and educating parents and students.
*The PTSA will provide activities that promote health and self-esteem.
*The PTSA will integrate and involve children & parents into PTSA activities, having purposeful and meaningful events that meet our goals and objectives and that foster and create memories.
